Thunder over Segovia

Segovia

The Parador de Segovia is a perfect place to enjoy this panoramic view of Segovia. The city is famous for its 3 historic landmarks: the midtown Roman aqueduct, the cathedral (one of the last ones to be built in Europe following a Gothic style), and the castle, which served as one of the templates for Walt Disney's Cinderella Castle. In addition, Segovia is also known as the site of the coronation of Isabella of Castile in 1474 following her prior marriage to Ferdinand in 1469 which created the basis of the unification of Spain.
